RollsPack Supports GMVA Volleyball Team Senior League Debut
August 21, 2025
At RollsPack, we’re proud to support the GMVA volleyball team senior league debut, one of our favourite ways to give back to local sporting clubs and organisations. One such club is the Greater Melbourne Volleyball Academy (GMVA).
The GMVA volleyball team senior league debut is a big milestone for SpikeZone athletes, who are stepping up from junior pathways into higher-level competition. Backed by RollsPack, the team is ready to take on the challenge of the EMVA Senior Men’s League this season.
From Fundamentals to Real Competition
SpikeZone is GMVA’s entry level program that introduces young kids to volleyball. Sessions run in both Oakleigh and Dandenong and focus on building the foundations, not just in terms of athletic skills but also teamwork, discipline and confidence.
The kids in SpikeZone have been training hard and wanting real game experience, not just drills. Now they’ve got it. GMVA has entered a SpikeZone team into the EMVA Senior Men’s League, running from August to November with 16 rounds plus finals.
It’s a big jump from training among peers to competing in structured league against adults. But it’s also exactly the kind of challenge that pushes young players to grow. Every match will test their focus, resilience and ability to apply what they’ve learned in training under real pressure.
Coaching on the Court
This opportunity isn’t just for players. Assistant coaches from within the SpikeZone program will step up as head coaches for the team during the league, gaining hands on experience with match strategy, team management and leadership.
Just like the players, these coaches are learning, developing and finding their voice in a competitive setting. They’re helping build the next generation of homegrown coaching talent.
Building Confidence One Game at a Time
At RollsPack we’re proud to support organisations like GMVA that don’t just teach sports, they build pathways. Whether it’s helping young kids discover volleyball or preparing them to represent their country , every step matters.
This latest move into senior competition is another example of how GMVA is bridging the gap between grassroots and high performance, giving local kids the confidence and experience to compete at higher levels. Learn more about how RollsPack supports community initiatives and youth programs.
GMVA SpikeZone Debut in the EMVA Senior League
The team played its debut game last week. It was an exciting moment for the players, coaches and the local volleyball community.
We are thrilled to follow the GMWA SpikeZone Team’s Journey this season and cannot wait to see where it leads .
